One of the unexpected consequences of Covid19 is the increase of international maritime transportation.

With more people working from home, the needs in all types of equipment has increased, from furniture and equipment (office desks and chairs, gym machines) to lesiure (game consoles).

Simultaneously the manufacturing capacity of many Western countries has been severly limited by the repeated lockdowns.

As a result, maritime transportation has seen a significant increase in volume creating shortages of empty containers but also stressing all the operations.

In this new and competitive environment, optimizing port operations is an unavoidable necessity.
